NIT Agent - The Trouble Ticket System:
This simple 3 step process will allow you to receive support online. To get started:
If you don't have the NIT Agent; please download and run it from here
After the installation – Right-click the blue N-IT Icon at the bottom right hand of your screen and select Contact N-IT.
The NIT Managed Services Portal will open.
When you enter the site for the first time, please update your Personal Information on the "Change Profile" Page. You can do this now even if you do not have any issues at this stage.
You are required to enter a Contact Name, E-mail Address and Telephone number.
Proceed to the "Trouble Ticket" menu to "Create a new Ticket". Please enter all relevant information regarding the Problem you are experiencing. The more detail you enter, the better!
For status updates, please continue to the "View Tickets" section. Here you will be able to track ticket details and to update the status of the Ticket. You will also be notified of any changes to your ticket via e-mail (the address entered in Step 1).
By using our Ticket system we can guarantee a faster and more effective service. It also allows us to build a database with historical information regarding your machine (PC or MAC) and this will help us to strategically recommend certain upgrades\replacement etc.
Although we always enjoy speaking to our end-users, we urge you (if at all possible, depending on the nature of the problem of course) to make use of this procedure.
